Wanted Tee™ — OBI Issue opens with an arrest scene that appears to have come straight from the files of an unusually determined enforcement agency.
Two heavily equipped officers, their uniforms bearing the initials OBI, escort an older man dressed in military style clothing across a wet, reflective street.
Above them, the accusation is printed in uncompromising lettering:
“WANTED FOR WAR CRIMES.”
There is no courtroom in sight.
No verdict is presented.
Just two officers, one escorted suspect, and a rather serious-looking operation already underway.
The front captures the moment when an accusation becomes the subject of an imagined enforcement action.
Turn the garment around, and the mystery of who ordered the operation begins to clear.
A heavily equipped black SUV stands beneath flashing blue-and-red emergency lights, its metallic markings announcing the arrival of an institution with an extraordinary name:
OBI — ORGANIC BUREAU OF INTOLERANCES.
Apparently, intolerance has become a matter for official investigation.
And the Bureau has brought its own transportation.
The reverse transforms the arrest scene into institutional satire, complete with imposing gold lettering, fictional agency insignia, tactical styling, and enough authority in its presentation to make the initials look suspiciously official.
The joke lies in the contrast between the severity of the accusation and the invention of a bureau whose name sounds simultaneously bureaucratic and absurd.
