The front places Mr. and Mrs. Karma together beneath the declaration:

“I THOUGHT LOVE WAS A TWO WAY STREET.”

The setting is ornate, dark, and romantic the kind of scene that suggests partnership, shared expectations, and two people moving through the same relationship together.

Then the reverse changes the interpretation.

“TWO WAY, YOU SAY?”

Mrs. Karma takes over the second scene completely at ease with her own understanding of the arrangement, turning a familiar statement about reciprocity into something much less certain.

That contrast defines the piece.

Mr. Karma believes love moves in both directions.

Mrs. Karma appears to agree.

What remains open to interpretation is exactly what each of them believes should be moving.

The black garment base deepens the antique gold, crimson, green, and purple details, allowing both sides to read like connected chapters from the same dark romance.
