Every questionable scheme starts somewhere.
Robbing The Cradle Tee™ — Pizza Issue begins with three sharply dressed gentlemen gathered around an ornate golden cradle.
Above them, an enormous watchful eye overlooks a world map, framed by elaborate golden ornamentation.
The inscription reads:
“THE IDEA.”
Three men. One cradle. An unusually serious amount of contemplation.
Whatever they're planning, they certainly appear to be giving it some thought.
The cradle sits beneath a partially drawn covering, its contents concealed while the men lean in, studying their apparent discovery.
An idea has been born.
Unfortunately, the delivery leaves something to be desired.
Turn the garment around, and the situation has developed considerably.
The reverse reveals the same three gentlemen gathered around the cradle, now occupied by a startled, animated pizza-like figure surrounded by exaggerated strands of melted cheese and toppings.
The inscription announces:
“ROBBING THE CRADLE.”
Apparently, the gentlemen weren't interested in raising the subject.
They were interested in taking a slice.
The artwork transforms a familiar expression into a ridiculous visual operation, using the contrast between distinguished appearances and undignified behavior to drive the joke.
The world map and watchful eye suggest a grand scheme. The elaborate cradle implies something precious. The pizza imagery makes the outcome considerably less respectable.
Presented on a classic unisex heavy cotton tee in Black or White, the front-and-reverse artwork carries the entire episode from its conception to its questionable execution.
Pizza Issue enters the EO Rebellution SJ House archive as a satirical reminder that impressive surroundings, elaborate planning, and expensive-looking suits do not guarantee an equally impressive idea.
The plan was carefully considered.
The cradle was beautifully constructed.
And somebody still decided to make a meal of it.
