The Food Injection Tee™ — Classified Issue presents a two sided investigation into what happens when money enters the conversation before the food reaches the table.
On the front, three businesslike figures gather around a desk crowded with stacks of money, documents, and financial cases.
A man leans forward, gesturing toward the cash. Another woman stands behind the seated figure, who appears to be considering the proposition before her.
Among the paperwork sits a folder marked “CLASSIFIED.”
Whatever is being discussed, the meeting does not appear to be open to public comment.
Beneath the scene, the instruction arrives in elaborate green-and-gold lettering:
“INJECT THE FOOD.”
The reverse takes that instruction somewhere considerably more literal.
Inside a laboratory surrounded by produce, scientific equipment, colorful vials, and additional classified material, a woman in a laboratory coat holds a syringe-like instrument over a tomato.
The accompanying declaration reads:
“THE INJECTION.”
The connection is difficult to miss.
One side depicts the money behind the decision.
The other depicts the procedure behind the produce.
The satire draws its force from the suggestion that what begins as a confidential financial arrangement can end as something ordinary people encounter on their dinner plates.
No specific company, government agency, or actual food product is identified as responsible for wrongdoing. The artwork stages an imagined scenario built around secrecy, commercial influence, and the uneasy questions people sometimes ask about what goes into their food.
Presented on a classic unisex heavy cotton tee in Black or White, the coordinated front-and-reverse artwork carries a complete satirical narrative.
Classified Issue enters the EO Rebellution SJ House archive as a commentary on the difference between what the public is told, what institutions choose to disclose, and what people suspect may be happening behind closed doors.
The paperwork was confidential.
The procedure was experimental.
But somehow, dinner made the guest list.
